These terms apply when you use ateliert.ae and when you buy from us. Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order you confirm that you accept them. They do not affect your rights under the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020) or any other law that protects consumers.
1. About us
ateliert.ae is the online store of Atelier T, a perfume house that composes, hand blends and bottles its own Eau de Parfum in the United Arab Emirates. You can contact us at info@ateliert.ae.
2. Our products
- All our perfumes are our own compositions. Where we say a perfume is “inspired by” another fragrance, the brand and fragrance names are used only to describe its scent style. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by their owners, and we do not sell their products. See our Disclaimer.
- Product photos are for illustration. The way a fragrance smells and lasts varies from person to person and with skin type, climate and how it is applied.
- Our perfumes are for external use only. Avoid contact with eyes and broken or irritated skin, test on a small area first if you have sensitive skin, keep away from heat and flames, and keep out of reach of children.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in UAE dirham (AED). If VAT applies, it is shown at checkout. Delivery charges, where they apply, are shown before you pay. We check our prices carefully, but if we find an obvious pricing error we will contact you and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
4. Placing an order
- When you place an order, we send an email confirming that we have received it. This is not yet acceptance of your order.
- Your order is accepted, and a contract is formed, when we email you to confirm that it has been dispatched.
- We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, if there is a pricing error or if we suspect fraud. If we do, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid in full.
You must be 18 or older to place an order, and the details you give us must be accurate.
5. Payment
You can pay using the methods shown at checkout. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we do not see or store your full card details. Your order is processed once payment has been authorised.
6. Delivery
- We currently deliver within the United Arab Emirates.
- Delivery is free and insured on orders of AED 400 or more. Charges for smaller orders are shown at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates. We will keep you informed if your order is delayed.
- Please make sure someone can receive the parcel at the address you give. If delivery fails because of an incorrect address or because nobody is available after reasonable attempts, we may charge for re-delivery.
- The products become your responsibility once they have been delivered to you.
7. Returns and refunds
Our Returns & Refunds policy explains when you can return an item and how refunds work. If a product is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, we will replace it or refund you.
8. Your account
If you create an account, please keep your password confidential and let us know straight away if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for orders placed through your account.
9. Website content
The Atelier T name, logo, text, photos and designs on this website belong to Atelier T and may not be copied or used without our written permission. Third-party brand and fragrance names belong to their respective owners.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for supplying products that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for problems caused by using a product other than as directed. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
11. Privacy and cookies
We use your personal details only to process your orders, provide customer service and, if you agree, to send you news about Atelier T. We use essential cookies to run the store, and analytics cookies only with your consent; you can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one shown on this page when you placed it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute. We would always prefer to resolve a problem with you directly first, so please contact us.
